One difference is the once prototype Nissan kit is now a reaity. I wonder if the suzuki version will also be built.  :-/

Yea but the problem falls here. There are ALOT of Xterras getting sold every day (alot more than Vitaras), and the new XTerras are finding their way to the trail (alot more than vitaras). Therefore the Xterras Kit hit the market first.

I thought the prototype Kick/Tracker kit was estimated around $2500- $2800, complete, with an axle and completely bolt on :-/ And everybody (well most everybody) was complaining about it being way to expensive. I remember comments of "that's more that I gave for my truck". With us being as cheap as we are, driving vehicles that are no longer made, I dont see the Kick/Track SAS coming out soon ever, at least not till the cult like Xterra group slows down or wises up and starts buying Zuk's. I'd guess our best hope will be for Vitara/GV sales to rocket and see something made for them before they stop being produced :-/

I think if it came to the suzuki market it would sell. Now, does Calmini think the same thing? I also agree $1800 for a bolt in W/O axle is fair.

If I was looking into making a daily driven kick with an SAS, I'd definately go for a bolt-on kit... but since my Tracker's not my DD and Calmini doesn't have a kit out, I'll do things the cheap route. Think about it... double the cost of their 3" kit for I'd assume at least twice the lift and the benefits of a solid axle combined with a professionally-built kit that you don't have to be afraid to drive on the road with.

Also, a decent, road-worthy, reliable kit is going to cost just as much, if not more, than $1800-2000, IMO.

It would be unfortunate if they never release the SAS kit, since there probably is, as Mike said, a market for it.
