If I was looking into making a daily driven kick with an SAS, I'd definately go for a bolt-on kit... but since my Tracker's not my DD and Calmini doesn't have a kit out, I'll do things the cheap route. Think about it... double the cost of their 3" kit for I'd assume at least twice the lift and the benefits of a solid axle combined with a professionally-built kit that you don't have to be afraid to drive on the road with.
Also, a decent, road-worthy, reliable kit is going to cost just as much, if not more, than $1800-2000, IMO.
It would be unfortunate if they never release the SAS kit, since there probably is, as Mike said, a market for it.
