Death wobble
« on: November 06, 2011, 05:57:35 PM »
I have an 88 Samurai that has a terrible DEATH WOBBLE. When you hit a bump The front tires just start wobbling god awful. The only way to stop it is to slow down below 30 or less or pull the steering wheel to the left or right and hold it for a couple seconds. It is really a serious situation. There is no obvious visual problem with the front end. Help

Do a bit of a search on the forum here and you'll find the answer. If you don't find it with search, let us know and we'll help.

I had that same problem. I put a new steering stabilizer on it and it was good as new.
