Tracker Troubles
« on: August 15, 2007, 09:13:16 PM »
In the last few weeks, my trackers condition has been going downhill faster than ever before. The transmission has been sounding bad for about 5 months now, but now it sounds like the bearings are going to grenade and split the case, The engine is burning more oil than I would have ever imagined(almost a quart every 2 tanks of gas), and now the radiator cracked and I cant seem to find anything to seal it. I have tried JB Weld, but the pressure keeps cracking it in the same place. And on top of that, I have no job, and school starts next week. This is such a screwy situation, because I know the tracker probably wont last much more than a month in its condition >:(.
Runnin' it stock with 225/75R15s and an unmodified 8valve TBI motor (I need a doug thoroley header and a cam) (more power) (1.6 liters of madness) (vroom + sewing machine sounds)

If cash is short ...offer the wrecking yard your labor ( pulling parts for customers, cleaning up or whatever ) in exchange for the parts.

The only down side is that I now live where there is no pick and pull junkyards. When I moved down here(Camarillo,CA) , I looked in the phone book to find a suzuki junkyard, and to my surprise, the one listed was the Suzuki subaru kia one in Rancho Cordova, which is closer to where I used to live, which is an 8 hour drive from where I live now. I have heard of there being pick a part type junk yards in Sun Valley, but without going there, it is hard to tell if they have any sidekick/trackers, as most of those junkyards dont keep an inventory of what they have in their yard(or they do but the employees are too incompetent to look it up). Either way, I will figure something out.
