ideas on homemade skids?

i have a 3ft x 3ft 1/8inch thick stainless steel sheet, i want to make a front skid plate. just wondering if any one has any ideas or tips on how to cut out a mold of a skidplate?
pls post pics if ya have any.

Laser or plasma is the best way, it would
be miserable to try and cut that with a sabre
saw, and no a cutting torch will not work on stainless

and if you need to put a nice straight bend in it bust out the poor mans brake :P angle iron and a sawhorse  ;D

i'm sorry for the poor qality on the pictures :-[, they are taken on a old nokia cell phone

my best friend installed it this afternoon, luckily it uses some existing holes.

we used 2x M8x25 bolts +2 external torx bolts, i think they are called T-10 (or whatever)

looks good.. i was thinking of a simlar idea, but you just cleared it rite up for me. thanks for the pics.
