I know that on my GV that rubs stock tires in the back and front if it's thrashed enough that bottom out pad extenders will make bigger shocks work great once I lift it and probably make bigger tires bit just fine too.


Are the shock mounts on a GV not mounted to the frame like the earlier models?



the shock mounts are identical to the 1st gen ones I think. welded right on the frame.



here's a pic of the front and back suspension I took a while ago
2000 Grand Vitara.. boondox coil spacer lift w/ pro comp 2 inch lift shocks and ome struts. 225/75 R16 Kumho Mt's, powdercoated wheels, rear brake line relocation and stuff to acomodate. custom exhaust and intake along with some 1 off accesories.
