steering questions

steering questions

Ok. I already have a Spring over axle lift. Everything in the suspension and steering is stock suzuki. I have some extended brake lines, and I am about to put some better leaf springs on it. The springs will lift it about 2-3 inches. My question is, do I need a longer pitman arm, or a longer link that runs from my pitman arm to my steering? I am asking because I want to make sure I have all of the right parts before I begin...

Go with some sort of knuckle-over steering.I run a Breeze set-up & have had no problems. My buddie`s got the Spidertrax & it is nice also. I am spoa w/ cj`s & missing links. These systems will preety much take care of bumpsteer. ;D

 i like the sky-manufacturing crossover kit, and at 170 bucks, you can't beat it.

I'm runnig an Acme hi-steer.  It's a very nice set up, and it only took me 45 minutes to unpack it, charge the compressor and bolt it on.  Check them out at:

So, did ya find any springs yet?  I'm thinking either YJ's or CJ's would hold up that small block...they work in the heavier Jeep.  If ya went with the stock Jepp springs, you's get a little lift out of em.
