SAS Tracker steering box question

I know some people used toy boxes for steering, but what I want to know is why not use the tracker power steering box? is there something wrong with using it? is there a particular reason to not use it? what are the down sides to using the stock box?

We're using the stock box.

It's performing fine. No complaints from it. And we've got no complaints with it.

Good to hear, now do you think there would be a problem with drilling the stock pitman arm out for 3/4" heims? or is there anything else that has to be done to it to be used with a solid axle? yeah.. one more thing, what about that wannabe stopper on the frame.... is that important for the SAS? Im guessing thats there for the IFS only.

the toy box goes on the outside of the frame wich makes the draglink longer and will also relieve some angles , and it is a little bigger .

Some complain about the Kick box not coping long term with really big rubber but I have also heard that rigging up a cooler for the power steering helps fix this.

Not sure about drilling out the pitman arm, we left ours as is, and just stuck a sidekick ball joint on the end of our FJ80 draglink.

We left the stopper on the frame, and we used that in conjunction with the stoppers on the birfields.

Not sure about taking them off.. you might want to call Sky at Sky manuf. Or Hawk.
