which leaf springs should i use?

 i was looking at that kit and does that do only one axle or both? because i would have to buy two kits wouldnt i?

That kit is for the front axle only,  you dont need that kit for the rear. All you have to do for the rear is move the perches in on the axle, to match the sammis width.

So for the front you just need the Toyota to samurai kit
and for the rear you just need 2 perches.

see id prefer not to move my perches instead just weld a plate on top of the stock perch and re drill the center pin but im not to sure how this would work on the front end... im going to tear in to it friday hopefully

For the front, on the short side of the axle, you do weld a plate onto that perch, but you have to move the other side over.

How come you dont want to move the perches in?

Do you have a normall center position toyota axle? like a non modifyed one?

there stock toyota axles not modified or anything the reason i dont want to move the perches is i dont know if i trust my welding..... ::) i have both a stick and a mig welded and ive onlyu welded a few things not a major suspension mount. i guess ill just try it and see what happens should i stick weld it or mig weld it?

MIG is probably your best bet, its quite a bit easyer to use than stick. Exspeilly if you havnt dont much welding with it.  You also have to weld the perches on and take into consideration that the axle can warp and weaken, if heated to much. 
You just have to make sure you set up your welder some what set up right for the thickness of the metal.  Maybe a few amps lower if you have to.

Isnt running a non off-set yota axle going to burtalize your T-case mounts?
Iv heard some people have that problem, but there mounts were stock.

i have no idea this is the first samauri i ever owned it was kinda of a spur of the moment purchase. it was somebodys un finished project... dont they sell upgraded mounts?

Ya you can get new T-case mounts, theres a ton of differnt kinds, not 100% sure which one is the best.

All the stuff you have to do is pretty easy stuff, none of the stuff should be to hard to weld. Just take your time with it. should turn out cool, and practice welding befor hahha you do the axle welds.

should i pull my axles out also my dad said i should so i can throughly clean every thing out after i weld it ?
