I got a spare manual Tracker transmission.  I know the manual trans in my Tracker is noisy in neutral until I put the clutch in. So I figured I would rebuild the spare one and mate it to the transfer case with the crawler gears and twin sticks. Sooooo Ebay???  or do you think someone has a better rebuild kit with synchronizers.

Question 2  What clutch disc would you put in while you have the trans out and where would you buy it?

I never purchase important items from fleecebay, sorta like throwing the dice, you might get lucky, but more than likely you are gonna loose out.

TT and LowRange sell bearing and synchro kits for the track/kick's.

As for the clutch disc I would opt for a close to OEM clutch, dont fall into the trap of performance parts being better.

Stick with someplace reputable rather than some pajama wearing skeezebag reselling cheap crap on fleecebay.

The trick to buying on eBay lies in recognizing thatfor the most part, you're dealing with individuals, rather than corporations - that's not to say that there aren't corporate entities with a presence on eBay, but YOU have to make sure you know who you're dealing with and what you're buying - it's just as easy to get ripped off by a brick & mortar retailer on the otherside of the country away

eBay is where I found Transparts Warehouse, from the looks of it they are a supplier of such kits to the automotive industry - I bought a complete kit for my Swift from them several years ago - bearings, seals & synchros - no regrets, and I've also recommended them to many, no complaints.

Yep, I believe it was Transparts that I have bought a couple of trackick tranny rebuild kits from on ebay.  Whoever you think about buying from, ask them what make the bearings are.  The Transparts kits have Nachi, Koyo, and some other Japanese brand that I can't remember, in their kits (Japanese bearings=good, Chinese, Mexico, etc. bearings=bad).
For clutches, I mainly run auto parts store clutches.  No problems with them either.
