Hard Top
« on: December 08, 2008, 08:52:44 PM »
I was wondering if any one might know about how much a good used hard top would cost. My kick got broke in to last night and that settled it for me the soft to has got to go. I'm thinkin hard to with a safari rack would look pretty nice.

In my neck of the woods $300 for a damged one is the cheapest I've seen, with the average being closer to $800

For a "Good" Zook? By that, I'll presume about 100,000 miles or less, clean carpet & body, clean pink slip (no salvage title), maintainence  records etc: Samurai = $3,000 : Kick = $2,000. Sub $1,000 Suzukis are usually beat up, or broken - which is what I'd expect from ANY 4x4 for under $1,000. Remember Jeep Cherokees & Bronco II have dropped dramatically in price, are decent wheelers, and tin-tops. I love Suzuki, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize value in other brands.

Jeremiah, he's probably talking about buying a hard top to replace his soft top...

few and far between, but to be honest with you what I did to get mine was call around 10 owners that were selling track/kicks and offered them cash and my soft top for one.... you will eventually come across someone who has no idea what hard tops go for and you will be able to pick one up cheap!
