what kind of sun roof do you want? the pop up in the rear kind? or the pop up then back kind?
depending on what kind you want it would vary but if you have a u-pick it type place near you with say a civic sitting in it. you could get everything you need from the car including the switch and the track it uses.
from looking at my hard top it wouldnt be impossible to make a wooden frame and mount it to that then just do whatever youd like to make it pretty on the inside.
damn now i want one
edit: wonder how hard it would be to motorize the entire top roof section to be a giant powered sun roof
