I just took off the inner fender and removed the factory plastic air intake on my 97 4 dr. 1.8L. Does this intake supply air to anywhere else besides the motor intake? It went from the front of the fender all the way over the top and down the door sill. I took out only the part above the fender to install my snorkel but I am wondering if I am going to lose air intake to somewhere else. Any help would be appreciated.
