A couple clutch questions

Time for a new clutch in the tracker, but I have a few questions before I go ahead and order parts. I have a 91 2 door (8v engine) 5:38 gears with 32" tires and plan on putting twin t-cases in soon.

1)  The 91 4 doors and all 16 valves use a 215mm clutch instead of a 200mm clutch, can I put the larger clutch in mine?

2)  Will my flywheel work with the larger clutch?

3)  What are you guys using for clutches? I have been looking at the center force clutches. The stage 1 clutch offers 30% better holding over stock, and the center force dual friction is 90%. I'm just wondering if the dual friction is a little much, because I know when crawling over rocks and different obstacles sometimes its nice to be able to ride the clutch a little. With the dual force it is rather engaged or not  engaged, not sure this is the best clutch for my application. I have never driven one with this type of clutch, so I'm looking for some input from people that have them.

I have heard of people putting 4 door clutches on their 2 door Sidekicks, so I'm pretty sure you'll be able to do that upgrade without any issues. I have no idea about the clutch/flywheel compatibility though as I haven't done it myself. I just recently replaced my clutch and used a Rhino Pac clutch. It's about half the price of a Centerforce and so far I am happy with it.
97 Sidekick 4door 5 speed, 1.5 spacer lift, 2" body lift, CJ rims, locked rear, 31's, 4:1 low <SOLD>

1 and 2.....yes, it will work fine.  The 8Vs and the 16Vs use the same flywheels.

3.....I am using generic auto parts store clutches in all of mine....they work fine.  If you are not geared low enough and have to do a lot of clutch slipping, then you might look at getting a "better" clutch.

You will probably need to get the flywheel refaced before you put in the larger clutch to get rid of any step thats worn in to it.

I agree.....you should resurface the flywheel any time you put in a new clutch.

1)  You can put in larger clutch, but get re-surfaced flywheel as stated.

3)  I'm looking into this too, as I just fried my clutch in my SJ410. I've found ZERO complaints about petroworks, and ALL KINDS of accolades about it. If you can afford it, and do a lot of wheeling, it looks like it's and extra $100 well spent.

That said, I've also heard a petroworks is not needed when gearing down. Are you going kicker 3 in a 2 door kick? It makes me nervous doing it into a 4-door, but I'm looking into it.

Thanks for the info, I am going to run a kicker 2 (a Suzuki t-case mated to a Toyota t-case)  I think this set up is a little stronger and will work better for my application, and ya it's going into a 2 door
