TCASE REBUILD WITH CALMINI 4 2 1 LOWRANGE

I think it's about time to rebuild my Tcase. It's been making noise ever since I bought it, used, with the Calmini 4.24 to 1 gears already installed, and probably well used at that. NOw the noise is really getting more noticeable. I've never rebuilt a tcase, but I'm thinking I can do it. I've got a Dealer special tool set I picked up cheap on ebay with all the bearing drivers and installers in it, as well as all the seal installers too. It also has a bunch of other special tools that I've never used, but will come in handy I'm sure.
My question is this: I've got my stock tcase clean and sealed in plastic with only 60k on it sitting under the bench. Instead of purchasing all new bearings and seals could I swap the low range gears from the case thats got all the miles on it and making noise, to the other case with low miles and runs quiet?
The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

i no personal experience with this yet, but am slowly preparing to do this very thing. so far i only have the spare tcase.
perhaps overhauling the modified case would be the way to go(i have replaced bearings in mine-they were not pricey) or you will need to grind out the other case to fit?
i suppose some part swapping could be done but might be false economy.
i understand calmini doesn't carry those gears anymore?
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.

FYI
I rebuilt my transfer case with the help of a Pipeline Mechanic (He had all the right tools).
I really only needed to use a couple of his Large Sockets as Bearing/seal drivers and
his "Long Reach" gear/bearing puller on the Rear output shaft
as you will be pulling off the speedometer gear,spacer, and the bearing all at the same time.

But you say you have these tools.
I bought my 4.9/1 COMPLETE INSTALL/REBUILD KIT from LowRangeOffRoad. (About $735.00 TAX & FOB your house including new Front Output Shaft)
Also I highly recommend getting the New Front Output shaft as its beefier than the original.
All you reuse is the shifter servo's, the final drive gear for low range with the original rear output shaft,
Everything inside will be NEW, and no second thoughts later.

Good Luck, 90% of this job is the right tools, also if you decide to DIY, I can photo copy the shop manual instructions

Capt., I hope you meant $735 was the price INCLUDING the new low range gears, because that would be real pricy otherwise  :o
I have two transfer cases, one stock with very low miles, and the used one that already has the the Calmini low range gears installed. It's the one with the Calmini gears that needs a rebuild as I'm pretty sure the bearings are worn, enough so that the are making noise. I'm gonna give Brett at TT a call and see what he reccomends. I was just hoping to save a few bucks by putting the low range gears into a known good case without having to purchase and put in new bearings and such.

Well I just got my answer from Brent at Trail tough, and it's the one I wanted  ;D I told him my situation and he said " why don't you just put the gears in your old good tcase? " I asked if I would need any more parts and he said no, unless something is bad in my original tcase. I doubt it, when I swapped it out for the one with the low gears it was working perfectly and quiet. So it's off the the garage to start swapping gears.
