I picked up a set of 15X8 with about 3.75" or 4" backspacing.  I didn't measure.  Anyhoo.  There was some 31s on them.  I know changing the backspacing affects the scrub angle but now it steers wierd.  It seems like it is more difficult to come off center.  And when I hit a bump it seems like it pulls that side.  Didn't know if the backspacing changed the scrub angle and putting different leverage on the steering and just making it goofy.

I put the 31s on to see if they fit, they do.   But I just got a near new set of 235/75 BFGs.  The 31s are sorta bald.  Now is the rim too wide causing my steering issues?  It was fine with the stock wheels and tires.  Or maybe its a balance issue?

Should I put the new tires on the 15X8's or put them on the Stock wheels?  I'm checking tonight for loose/bent steering parts.

According to BFG, 8 in. is too wide for a 235/75.
