It's been my experience, albeight I'm no great mechanic, that when the various manufacturors went to EFI, even the most primitive forms, they gained power, mpg, and reliability.  Sidehills, inclines, declines, etc are a thing of the past with EFI.   I wouldn't swap back to a carb.

Ive also been told the same by a few mfrs....

I.E. putting a 1.3 carb kit on would be limiting the engine...not enough flow....

Speaking fromexp from my old Datsun..which was carbed.....

I would take efi any day over carbs....carbs always seem to need some help

I f you can keep efi on a vehicle or add it...do it... now dont get me wrong a carb on something old and big was nice.... something in like a trans am with a 4 barrell holly but a tracker... go to efi... will have better performance with the engine... adn as stated below you would get better mpg...
