Hey Track_this,

There is a post on page one, called "Adjusting camber after a lift" posted by Chrisvitarasport94.

He mentions having 1.5 in lift springs by ironman. He would be able to tell you for sure though, if anything else is involved or not.

Ironman/Toughdog springs are made in Australia by 4Way.They give a should give a full two inchs of lift but at the expense of ride comfort,I know many people have swapped them for Old Man Emu because they were too stiff.

Yeah, that's me - I've run the Ironman springs for 2 years and am really pleased with them compared to the stock ride. I can't compare them with any other springs (other than stock) because I'm not in touch with any one in the SW of the UK with a modified Vitara. I chose them as I wanted to go the RRO style lift route rather than Calmini style, but importing springs from the US would have been expensive. The alternative in the UK at the time did cause other users some worries.  Ironman has distributers in the UK, and the price was good. The tell me that the lift on a Vitara without heavy accessories would be + 35-40mm. Their FAQs page on their website is useful.  I do see some Aussie users refer to them as a 2" lift, and mindfull of the recommendation not to exceed +2.5" to avoid CV problems ( where I have fitted 1" RRO coil spacers as well )  I have e-mailed an enquiry to some Aussie users asking for their experience with spacers on these springs, but without a reply so far. I have had no problems with the CV's so far.

It sound like they sell a different spring in the UK because everyone I know is happy with the lift but disappointed with the ride. I’m running the coil spacers with stock springs, I don’t know anyone with a 2.5 lift because it makes it too hard to get rego and insurance.
