http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Samurai_v_Consumers_Union

Suzuki sued in 96 after CU claimed they drove the Samurai off the market.  Then the CU spend years saying that they were providing a public service, so they shouldn't be able to be sued for liable.   Once the courts finally shot that down they settled out of court with the following statement:

Quote
In the settlement, CR agreed that it "never intended to imply that the Samurai easily rolls over in routine driving conditions." [3] A joint announcement of the settlement stated that "CU and Suzuki disagree with respect to the validity" of CU's tests. "Suzuki disputes the validity" of the tests, and "CU stands by its test protocol and findings." [4]

If you do a search for 'The truth about the Suzuki Samurai' you can find the video.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=The+truth+about+the+Suzuki+Samurai&aq=f

Or the entire 15 minutes here:

Suzuki versus Consumer Reports

It's kind of dry though, since it was designed for a court case so it brings up example article after each statement.  The fun part is just after 3 minutes.

It's mentioned in the video, but you would have to dig a bit to find the documents but they are probably out there.  Suzuki had it on-line going into the case but pulled it as part of the settlement.  You can try http://home.golden.net/~haida/suzuki/news/tippy.html

I also have a copy of this video that plays unedited in one segment at Ack's FAQ.

http://www.acksfaq.com/consumerreports.htm

Since it is actually on the FAQ server, it will not "go away" except by my choice.

Enjoy!

Regardless how well Suzuki may or may not have gotten paid, we seem to have lost the Jimny forever.

No payment, just a mutual 'we both are alright' and CU's agreement to never mention the Samurai again.

Ack:  I should have checked with you first.  :)
