Weber Carb with Elec Fuel Pump
« on: October 01, 2015, 03:07:26 PM »
Hey Guys,

When running a Weber carb with an elec fuel pump, do you recommend using the fuel pump block off plate and EGR block off plate?

I'm finally getting back to rebuilding my 87 Samuari after a year of it sitting (wedding and home purchase in that year) so I'm a little nervous about putting the weber in since I've never installed or run one.  Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

I'd block both off. You may need a fuel pressure regulator for the pump.

The Webber requires 3 lbs or less pressure . I'd recommend ditching the "E pump idea and sticking with the mech pump....No advantage to the E pump. Many advantages to the Mech.......

Ever seen a swimmer pump vapor lock?  I'd consider that an advantage.
