Hi all, I'm new to this forum...heck, I'm new to sami's as well.  I have bought an 88 for about 4 bills.  the kicker is that it won't move.  cranks, tranny is good, but there is a problem with the tranfer case.  I have done some research and found out about this bushing that can be replaced from the top side going through under the boot.  it wont go in 2 or 4 wd and the stick travels in a strange "c" motion when you move it.  any one have any experience with this bushing and what it acts like when that is the problem?  I will take possesion of the sami tomorrow and will be able to tear into it then but was hoping for some advance advice.

From what I've read about Sammy's, a new shifter sheet seems like a probable fix to your problem.

Where would you put it all?
4 bills seem a bit large for something that doesn't move.
I'd go for the shifter seat and go from there.

I don't expect anyone to give me anything I ask for, so I have plenty of space
