X-90 Window fix!
« on: December 04, 2010, 05:54:10 PM »
Been searching for a reasonably priced fix to those notoriously slow electric windows? I was so frustrated with mine. New replacements are $435.00 from Suzuki Car Parts. We cleaned everything and re-greased. It helped but they still suck...My son just bought a 97 today and the windows work great. The previous owner found by much trial and error that Geo Prizm electric motors are a perfect fit and the windows in this car work great. The only thing is a Prizm right fits an X-90 left and of course the Prizm left fits the X-90 right. He bought at NAPA for $58.00 each and got $20.00 back for returning the old ones for a core. How cool is that? I'm going to NAPA on Monday and get new ones ordered for my 96, no more slow windows for me!

Also using pledge on the rubber window seals/guides works wonders.
If your not living life to the fullest then your not living at all.

You wont really know if your wrong till your upsidedown

Cool. It is a little annoying that the windows are so slow. Thanks. Jim
