Transmission Swap

I have a Automatic 92 geo Tracker and a 5spd 91 suzuki sidekick. I want to put the 5spd in the auto. Need to know what to do and how to do it. I know its hard just like it better for wheelin.

 Let me see here, been there done that.

Shifter hole is different, pedal assembly needs swapped, complete wiring harness, computer, shifter hole modified, your just looking for a pain in the hemmoroids aren't you? :-*

2" lift
2.0 swap
I know...Pretty boring... FOR NOW...

Not really I just like 5 spd alot and its worth it all in the end. Just need to know what to do and how to do it

I think going auto to manual is
a much easier swap than the other
direction, Computer, ehh leave it
so the Man trans don't shift when the
computer tells it to   :P

   Is your auto a 3 speed  ??? if so what are you going to do with it ;D I can always use another 3speed.

   Also don't forget the difference in axle ratios 5 speeds need 5.12's you've prob. got 4.30's or 4.62's

Now that's a lot of work, you
have a full blown swap ahead
of you. You might as well swap
the whole wireing harness, I think
it would be better to leave it alone
and sell the auto Tracker.

why not sell the auto and build up the manual you already got? ...
