Does anyone know of a source for replacement latches that will work on the convertible two-piece hardtop?

I found ones that resemble the originals at two different places, one place was $40 each, the other was $16.50 each.

Personally I think that's too much for them and was wondering if anyone else had any experience in this arena, or knew of a place where they could be had for a cheaper price.

Any help appreciated.

Tim

I'll check

Thanks

I don't see this part on Hawk.

However, I did find these on the 'net:

http://wttool.com/c/15140155p

Just over $7 each.

They're not *exact* replacements, but I think they could work - Not exactly hot on the height of them - they'll stick out a bit more than the originals, but they look like they might be a tad bit stronger.

Perhaps I can mod them up to what I'm looking for..

Try searching for 'draw hasp' that may get you more hits...

I'll search for "draw hasp"

The one linked to on e-bay is for a softtop clip for a Tracker

Try giving Hawks a call at 888-SAMURAI.

They have a whole salvage yard of Suzuki product -- their online catalog does not come close to representing what they actually have in stock.  If they don't have it, they might be able to steer you to who does.

I've made a mint from selling those clips on ebay.  Every time i go to a junkyard, i check the trackers and sidekicks for the clips, get them for next to nothing, then sell them on ebay for $20-$30.  It's crazy.

I have bought some new from suzuki before.  i can't remember the price, but considering how much i was putting my top up and down (australian summer), i wanted a good clip.

Since then, the junkyard here in seattle always seem to have a pair or 2.
