Caliper question
« on: December 03, 2007, 09:41:23 AM »
I have a '95 2dr JX kick and I need to replace my front calipers, slider pins, the whole kit and kaboodle..  I'm just wondering if the 4dr models (not sport) use the same ones.  I've found some for a good price but it's for the 4dr.  Any compatibilityi issues? And if they are upto what years?  eg. 95-98

Thanks

The four door brakes on a two door are a common upgrade for lifted Trackicks with bigger tires. The four door calipers are a bit bigger, and more powerful, but I think you need to use them with the 4 door rotors , which are vented. Try doing a search on Brake upgrades.
The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

You need to use the 4dr rotors too. I did mine a while back. you may have to trim the dust shield a little but I love mine. is an easy upgrade even for some one as fix it challenged as me
