  You right 100 percent or nothing. But if your of that train of thought, go with yota axles or dana's. Do it right the first time and save yourself some more time and money. Look at  nc-zuk's build up, impressive and refined, but he even surcame to redoing his setup for beefier axles. Of course if you got the money and time the sky is the limits.  I don't hate, just rationalize. ::)

coil all the the way. i started with a spring over with missing links and went to wrangler springs and now i have a coil suspension from shaffers off road .it has alot more flex. im building a tracker this year with the same suspension

u dont have to " build " a tracker . just some coil spacers , a body lift , some 33 inch boggers , and a lincoln locker , and you are ready for just about anything . ;D :o

With coils on a sammy you would not even need lockers for the most part, the more they flex the better the traction.
1987,1988,1988,1990 samurai's,  1953 m38a1,  1996 x-90,blue.1996 x-90 red.1994 2 door tracker.   only Dead Fish go with the flow.                No Hairy Nosed Wombats were ran over on the trail today.       My ZUK is Xenophobic.

Sorry man, coils are not going to make up for not having a locker. You may have the tires on the ground more often but you still spin tires and lose traction.

we have a suzuki lj80 ans we like to instal some coil springs. we are looking for pictures of how to make and place a coil conversion. we are looking for detal piktures of front and rear axle...
