samurai worth$
« on: April 26, 2006, 03:14:11 PM »
HI, my buddy is interested in getting a Zuk. He found a 1986 samurai manual trans and 4 wheel drive. It has a salvaged title. It looks like it has been rolled. The drivers side is messed up. And it needs a new windshield. The interior is pretty crappy also. The guy wants 1200! for it because it runs. Seems high to me. Just wondering what you guys would think a good offer would be. Thanks.

figure out what it's going to cost you for it to run and DRIVE well, then deduct that from the price, or start out at $500 and move up in price, auction style.

Just keep an eye on ebay and other car sites, you will eventually find a nicer one for about that much, maybe a little more.

I'd say that's really high,

I bought an 87 sami with the 2 pc removable hard top for 400.00 CDN, it was flopped on the passengers side ( pretty lite ) the guy trailered it to my house (20 miles) and I drove it into my garage. It had 1500.00 worth of engine work from the local zuki dealer (recipts)

P.S. anybody want a 1.3 for cheap ;D ;D

Steve. :)
When this thing hits 88 MPH your gonna see some serious sh!t (hahaha)
