Looks like Jonald replied to a post not realizing it was 6 years old.

That's the problem with the search, it digs up some really old stuff  ;)

I think anyone can post on any thread regardless of age and irrelevance.therefor putting a 6 year old thread right back in our face.kinda annoying I agree.
I did it once not realizing the age of a thread :-[

I realize the original post was an old one. My question was not answered by my search and since my question is related to the original thread, it seemed appropriate to include what had already been discussed.

My question is still valid.  While searching for a Sidekick, I'm finding a lot of Sport models for sale.  I'm not going to build a hardcore rig, just an economical DD that I can use for search and rescue.  I will want to lift it enough for 235s, I may want a bumper, I might want to swap in my spare diesel engine, and I might want to add lockers. And I know that I might also want to get carried away.

So, if anyone knows the answer... What kind of aftermarket parts are not compatible between a standard Sidekick and a Sport model?

Thanks,
Jonald

the frame widths are different therefor suspention components are also different. Im sure something as generic as body or coil spacers are very similar and useable.I like the 1.8l motor alot more than the 1.6's so this is the route I would go if I were doing it again.(a sport).Just plan on all custom work for a sas.
