I was thinking about the wal-mart hill that we have here but I would have to have some one to pull me out just incase! It is about the size of a large house out in the far end of the parking lot, I should take a pic of it.

Dont do it! They have cameras in the lot. I know someone who did it and the cops showed up at his house 1/2 hour later.  :'(

Why is it illegal to climb snowhills?

By my house there is a mostly abandonded strip mall where they only plow a small part of the huge lot.  I was there tonight climbing some small hills and having fun in the unplowed part.

It's a matter of tresspass laws and insurance (their ins.)
If they let you use their parking lots for 4x4 action and you get hurt or you hurt someone else or damage personal property....ya see where this is going? no one wants a law suit.
Here in Midland county Mi. store parking lots are posted  "NO TRESSPASSING UNLESS FOR LAWFULL BUSINESS"

As if we needed another justification for that old expression, kill all the lawyers. Why can't we all, lawyers included, agree that stupid (or otherwise questionable) decisions are the sole fault of the ones that made them?

We had the law called on us at the local Walmart too ::) Instead of a hill, they have a 20' deep retention basin to hold water in heavy rains. Needless to say it's irresistable filled with snow (and no water). We ran through it a few times and when we noticed we were getting close to digging through the snow we stopped (so we would not tear up the grass). About half way home (5 minutes later) we were pulled over by Da Man in blue. He informed us that the manager of Walmart was on his way to press charges for distruction of private property :-/ I suggested that we meet him at the store so he could show the policeman what we had distroyed.

He let us go when he saw that there was only a few tracks and none of them even digging through the snow. He did warn us that we could be sited for reckless driving doing that :-/

Ya it sucks, even the local Police hate it around my home. Alot of them 4-wheel and ride motorcycles so I have talked to alot of them. Unless someone calls and complains they will not bother you (as long as you acting responsible). But if someone calls thay have to respond and 'enforce' the law.

Usualy if they show up and see our club window sticker they will not mess with us much(stop chat, tell us how much of an ass hole whom ever caled is, etc..) Every thime there is bad weather we will help them 'rescue' stranded motorists. It only happens a couple of times a year, so they only have 4-5 4x4's to get around in the snow and we have 10-15 vehicles riding around playing in it ;)
