I didn't know where to post this, but here's the skinny........

I got my preliminary dispatch for a pipeline project along the New York/Pa boarder. So I am heading out
a week or so early to get set up out there. (Also to MISS the July 4th vacation traffic, those "Blue Haired Ladies"
out loose driving motor homes... he can't hear, she can't see....lovely couple driving something as large as a Greyhound!!)
I have the "Timber Cruiser" on the trailer, and loading up the last of my gear,
Plan to leave out this evening to miss the "Dan Ryan 500" in Chicago and be out there some time Wednesday.

Looking forward to finding some trails out in eastern Penn. or South Central New York (Waverly area).

Any members out there, Please CLUE ME IN !!

Ended up being sent to....Tioga Jct., Pa just south of Corning, NY.
SO MUCH for the mini vacation in the Allegheny Mtn's  for the week & 4th weekend !!!!!

I and some guys from the Wysock, PA yard are trying to hook-up for Sunday-Monday over the 4th.

I plan to head down to "Rausch Off Road Park" as soon as I get done with work Sat.
It's a GOOD 2 plus hour drive down, but I won't have 2 days off in a row until Labor Day......
I plan to give a call as you are TOO have a "Minimum of 2 vehicles" to sign in, Adam a pipeline inspector who also has a Sammy can't go , his wife has already set up going to Pittsburg over the 4th).

A heads up...... unless you are running a motorcycle or a sports car.....
DON'T RUN HWY 125 !!!!!   I think I smoked up a 1/2 set of brakes on both the Van & Trailer !!! Had the temp gauge on the high end of Steam'n.. .... 10-15 mph switch backs..... 10-12 % grades !!!

Disappointed that there are only 2 other groups here on a big Holiday weekend !!   (6 vehicles total)

I jumped on at Shamokin, PA and it looks like it ends in Tremont, PA

Shamokin is a neat little coal mine town at the base of the mountain they are
mining the face off of.

BOTH ARE ALMOST DUE NORTH OF HARRISBURG, PA   50 MILES +/-
