WANTED my owm zuki.
« on: January 11, 2006, 05:43:26 AM »
Well, I've been searching and searching for my own rig with no success.  I'm tired of hovering around my son's rigs and helping them upgrade thier zuki's while I continue to hope for the moment when I find something that I will be happy with.

I've checked e-bay, autotrader, american classifieds, and all the local rags with no success.  Most are either too far away to deal with, junky, expensive as hell, rusted beyond my abilities to repair, or aren't optioned right.
Where else can I monitor with hopes of possibilities, real possibilities?

I could easily throw down on a newer or even a new unit, but I'm not really inclined to do so.  Like many of you, I dream of having a Sami in perfect condition.  One that is turn-key and will take on miles and miles of adventure.  But, I would be very satisfied with a '95 or so zuki track/kick 2 or 4 dr thats in good enough shape that a little tlc would make the perfect rig for me.  What a drag this searching is.  I want to get on with it.

All suggestions are welcomed.

I went through the same thing a few months ago.  Considerable research convinced me that  a Suzuki was the right choice.  After missing a couple of good chances, I started watching all the ads in the area daily.  Finally settled on one of two '98 Sports advertised in Phoenix, a 150 mile drive away.  I suggest patience.  Bookmark every link you can find and check them regulary.

Good luck

What he said.  Found mine after several months of looking and several aborted attempts.
