cool

but dude, thats a regular aftermarket intake

a CAI doesnt take in hot engine air because it (typically) runs down through the fender
(or blocks off engine heat [somehow])

Yep.  That's low-restriction (although also probably low-filtering...see http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest1.htm...), which may help, but not cold-air.  So far, I've stuck with the stock airbox; it's of a higher-restriction, but it also draws colder air from the fender.  My guess is it's probably close to a draw, one way or the other.  One of these days I'm going to implement a real solution; cowl-induction would be....cool....

aftermarket intakes look cool but i think im over it

K&N or Trueflow drop in filters will do it now

and i know it means a lot in the mainland
but i always laugh when i see "colder air" from the fender
as its always warm where i live

i should have recorded the sound the engine made when i got it.  When i got it the #4 rod bearing was toast so i rebuilt the whole engine and head ground up it set outside for about a yeah with just a bikini top on so i had to clean out a inch of leaves out of the backseat.  also where the clutch cable came through the firewall had rusted out so the guy put a c-clamp on there to hold it.  the little compartment on the top of the dash was full of ciggerett butts.  it was nasty but i only paid 200 for the truck with 95000 miles on it.

I went with spring under because it was I only have 31" tires for it right now. It has about 16" under the frame rails. http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/index.php?topic=22682.0
