The kenwood radio has been chaged for an Icom

Got shaved doors. I used an alarm module to open them.
All electric system redone completly

Innocent looking 1970s Land-Rover (sorry!) with a rude engine.  :)

Next step - something smaller I can run with fuel at 0.9GBP per litre or 7USD per US gallon. Can you guess what it might be...  ;)

I am in the market for some rims and like the way yours look

Could you let me know what size and backspacing you have?

I saw somewhere that if you measure from the inner rim to the edge that is your backspacing.  If you can I would appreciate it

Thanks

It began on a cold day in March,2005.

It arrived from a bad part of town populated with incompetent car mechanics and sleasy "Buy Here/Pay Here" used car dealers.

Dollied to her new home by a 1973 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer 710M (Ex-Swiss Army) aka SJ-425 SE.

Then the fun began.

Here is why I was able to pay $500.00 for an otherwise loaded JLX with a near-perfect body, interior and drivetrain:

Then I sold the Pinz.

Bye-bye... :'(

One thing led to another and I ended up pulling the engine and replacing the Crankshaft

and then I replaced the Exhaust manifold...

and an A/C compressor with a broken mount...

and rebuilt the CV shafts...

replaced the auto-locking hubs with manual Samurai hubs...

and repainted the wheels...

...then discovered one wheel was bent...

...fought the timing battle, got it running, bought new tires, got an alignment

and here is the finished product:

At last, something to cushy to drive that has a radio and rides nice.

Someday, eventually, it will evolve...

Hold it!!!!!!!!!

Is that a "Cast Iron" exhaust manifold? All the ones I've seen up here in the Great White North have a tube type exhaust manifold that looks alot like a Calmini header!
