« on: August 28, 2004, 06:19:35 PM »
Ok guys now Im getting my stuff tofether for my "pimp up sidekick"
3" calmini sus. lift
1 1/8 coil spacers
2" wheel spacers
15"X8" wheels (black of course)
but whats the biggest size tires  I would be able to fit with this combo?  and please explain the "gearing" correction that I would need to fix the lost of power due to bigger tires??

Run some 30x9.50s on it and it would look cool. People have been telling me to throw in some 5.12 gears to turn the bigger tires. I'm pretty sure with the 3" sus. lift you have to shave off a tab on the front diff. because of rub, so make sure to get some cool fender flares on the side. Good luck with the pimpin'

First off. Ditch the wheel spacers and get the right wheels. You can get the Black RockCrawlers with the proper spacing. I believe the spacing is 2 3/4 with a 15x8 wheel.
As for tire size. 30-31" inch with  a little fender triming.
If your getting coil spacers you'll need adjustable camber bolts.
Cause with the 3 inch Calmini lift it'll actually lift your front end more cause its made stiffer for added wieght, Like their winch bumper and a winch.

I would get a 2" RRO or 3" Calmini bodylift instead of the coil spacers.  It will make a lot more room for bigger tires.
