if you take the bottom body mount rubber and stack it on the upper rubber, you get just under a 2" body lift for free and no need to extend anything, even the body mount bolts/studs..........this is on an grand v and xl-7's. never tried it on my sidekicks tho......

oh and get this, when i worked at a body shop, i made a mold for 1.5 inch coil spacers and made them out of fiberglass resin HAHAHAHAHHA

this was my first lift and it was free and worked just fine, still makes me laugh

I'd never sell Jeff's spacers.  They're like space age moon plastic.  I can't believe he sells them so cheap!   If anything...I'll just get bigger springs, and add to the lift I already have.  I'll probably actually have to get a diff spacer from him soon.

NICE, "space age moon plastic". How did you guys find out I stole the formula from NASA? Actually I work with a lot of wood and hickory or maple would have the same shore hardness as my plastic. The durability is not there. Also if you live where termites are a problem, well need I say more? 

My first lift was with jeff's coil spacers.  4 door springs in a 2 door, good lift better ride, cost less than jeff's.  If you cut around the outside of the spring pad and raise it 1" to  1 1/2" more lift, almost free (cutting and welding involved).  Raising the spring pad straightens the alignment of the spring pads when lifting ifs.  DYI is not free, but certainily low cost.  I now have all the above, and am replacing front 4 door springs & 1" coil spacer with OME springs.  Cost more, but swapping the 4 door springs into another 2 door.  Two lifts for price of one set of springs) .

Awesome.  Just......awesome.

I actually made some Oak Spacers and ran them on the front.

I have a Calimini 3" suspention lift and I did the Mike H. widening.  The front end drooped.  So I had some sold oak around, so I cut out some spacers to see the size I needed.  Ended up leaving them in there for about a year - year and a half before replacing them with plastic.

In Michigan theres a lot of MUD.  When I pulled them out, other than being black, they were in great condition. 

I think I still have them on the shelve in the barn.
