Trackers were fuel injected from "jump street" - 8v engines were throttle body injection, 16v engines were multi port injection. A relatively small number of Sidekicks were built in 1989 with a 1.3 carbureted engine, any Sidekick with a 1.6 engine would have been fuel injected, like the Trackers, 8v engines had throttle body injection, 16v engines had port injection.
