ok... ive searched and searched as much as i can, i cant find it. but i thought i remember reading somewhere that a 2" hitch from the newer 99+ vitaras (grand vits, tracker, xl7) fits the older trucks.

i see the newer hitch looks a bit different with how it mounts (3 bolts each side compaired to 2 on each side for the kick) but i dont see much else.

i can get the newer hitch easily and i want the 2" hitch ive got a cheap flat bar hitch on it right now and need the bigger one...

The hitch from a newer tracker/vitara will be too wide.  The frames are wider on the newer ones.  My GF has a 99 I bought a hitch from a buy that bought it for his 98 and it wouldn't fit.
