« on: December 28, 2006, 10:46:59 AM »
looking for a cheap way to lift my tracker thinking either a body lift or coil spacers how much are the coil spacers(canadian) and how hard to install? and what would be easier a 2" or 3 " body lift i know when i put the 3" in my old jimmy had to extend quite a bit of stuff and move some stuff around in the engine bay and what are body lifts worth for these (canadian) i have 205's on it for the winter and 235's on one of my other trackers that will be going on this one and will probably stay with this size unless i could get 31's to fit how much would i have to lift it for 31's?

If you can find them, the coil springs from a GV add real lift.

How much more lift do they give....is it comparable to the spacer...body lift combo.

I would say that the easiest way to lift it would be coil spacers.  With a body lift, you are going to encounter issues with your shifters, and I ended up having to rig myself up a new center console, and modify the hole in the floor for the t-case lever.   To fit 31's with just a 2'' lift though, you may have to do a bit of trimming.  I ran my 31x 9.50's  on 15x7 rims for a couple of months with just a 2'' b/l, and the only thing i did was hammer the firewall a bit.
