hey guys, its me with yet another question!  a while back, i was looking through a website, and found two things that caught my interest... one was a set of diamond plate interior panels (that replace the vinyl covered cardboard on your doors and on either side of the back seat)... Another thing was an plastic exterior kit that sports the suzuki symbol, and says "suzuki" on it... it covers places like the bottom of the doors (sorta like rocker panels, i believe), and other places... i may be thinking that this item is only for the samurai, but i thought i remember seeing it for a sidekick..... does anyone know what i'm talking about, and where to find them?  i can't remember for anything, and i can't go back in my history, because its been cleaned out since then..

I haven't seen diamond plate panels for track/kicks, but I have seen ABS plastic interior door panels for track/kicks on ebay...

yeah-yeah, i found them... members.cox.net/aftermarket4x4/off_side.html (I hope that worked like i wanted it to).... i just sent them an email asking if i bought the door panels, rear wheelwell panels, and the tailgate panels all together, if i could get a discount... also, i asked about a diamond plate exo-trim kit... but i don't realy want the whole exo trim that i've seen pictures of... they look like poo... i just want the rocker panels really... going around the bottom of the vehicle... it wold be a nice complement to some shiny rocksliders, and maybe a chrome-like bumper... i'm thinking about seeing if calmini would chrome plate their double tube bumpers (front and rear), instead of painting them black... sort of like a special order (i'm sure i'd have to pay extra though)  ..........................I don't know.... is this too much bling for off-roading?  not necessarily chrome, but what's that other thing they use to make the metal real bright and shiny, like chrome, but it doesn't need the constant polishing like chrome...

You can buy rolls of plastic diamond checkaplate for DIY interior use from some auto stores,probably better and certainly cheaper than alloy  plate.
Calmini have small rocker covers for Vitara but it just covers the bit that your feet scuff.

i just bought a sheet of the alloy diamond plate, took the old trims off, traced, and jig sawed.

looks pretty good SiKid.... where can i find sheets of that stuff, and about how much is it?   Does it change the sound quality of the speakers and stuff, and for the better or worse?  I would like diamond plate because its unique, seems like it would be more durable than the vinyl/cardboard combo, and it would make the vehicle closer to a "spray off to clean/don't worry about the water, it just runs off and drains out" kinda thing....  Here are my worries.. am i gonna burn my arm in the summer when i rub it or lean it against the door?  is it going to interfere with the speakers, because of them being completely surrounded by metal (unless i get sound deadener all over the place or something)?  and do the speakers make the metal rattle? 

Ya know, a cool idea would be to have it anodized to match the vehicle... or, to add even more personality, if you're a fan of flame jobs or something, have flames going back, and have half of it colored, and leave the other half alone... that's just my opinion, even though i think the flames idea is a little too much...
