i NEED gears!!

i NEED gears!!

i got the Richmond 5.83 R & P gear (front) from Calmini and it is already installed.  the rear set has been on backorder for 2 months now!!  (they told me 2 weeks)  i am really tired of waiting and Calmini told me today that they didnt know when it would be in and i wold be the 2nd person to know, ha ha, NOT. >:(

does ANYONE sell a 5.83 (prefer richmond) rear 12 bolt R & P for a tracker other than Calmini?  i have missed 2 wheeling events already!!!

I am pretty sure all of the 5.38s come from the same supplier...unless someone isn't sold out, you are probably screwed!

You and me both. Waiting since Feb. Keep getting told 2 more weeks every 2 weeks. Was told this again last week.  >:( Tried Richmond Gear and they said Calmini is the only distributor.

dito, but waiting since Jan.!  i will call hawlk and i am ganna call Richmond too.  this sucks, cant go to far in 4x4 with diferent gears >:(

As I mentioned Richmond won't sell you anything and they don't keep stock. Hawk is also waiting with backorders and Rick wants some for his own use as well.

yah, i called Hawk.  said they are waiting on a few sets too.  so i called Richmond and talked to Mike Astley (sp).  and he told me THEY ARE STILL WAITING ON A PO FROM CALMINI!!!!   WTF!!! >:(  i give this crap 2 more weeks and then i am gonna start screeming.  i know the horror stories about Calmini but i have always had great luck with them and defended them, til now.  and if this keeps up this will be the last think i order from them, or any of my friends, or their friends and anyone i can find at any 4x4 event.  this is a joke!  4 months!!!

Calmini's gotta be able to get that discount for ordering X number of sets or more.  

SO get your buddies to order gears and it'll come faster.

had the same problems with Calmini on two different ocasions.  Anybody have suggestions for other parts suppliers?

 i know that HAWK is waiting on at least 2 maybe 3, i am waiting, mudbug and cj!  how many people do they need?!   hmmmm lets see thats maybe 6 sets at probobly anywhere from 50% to 100% mark up.... maybe i should just call Richmond and set myself up as a distributer and order 8 sets and resell them here :o

I nearly ended up in the same boat as you when I ordered mine, I got the front sent out with my Centreforce clutch and was going to fit it but then decided to wait just in case the inevitable happened and the 12 bolts were delayed.

I was right too email after email, the occasional phone call and it was all ways two weeks away,  two weeks away, two weeks away then any day now. Steve K even told me at Xmas they were only a few weeks away !! ::)

Then as luck would have it salesman X was walking past the front 5.83s in stock and noticed a 12 bolt rear in among them which he sent out to me with my Anvil. After reading all the post above I feel extremely lucky that I was the one that got it otherwise I be right there beside ya bitching too....

I'd be ringing Steve K and asking WTF is going on and voicing  that this is going on too long and I'd like an explanation for the status of the 5.83s.
A) are they ordered as per your concerns with the discussion with Richmond about a PO.

B) if so WTF is taking so long ? Richmond to busy with other work to run them ??
