I just found out the rock block is no longer availabe from trail tough  ???( THAT SUCKS).  Or does someone know where one can be purchased.  I currently have a 1.6 16 valve and 6.5 gears in t-case with 5:38's in diff's.  I need to be lower.  I'm considering installing a sidekick 5spd manual transmission with the ott kicker one t-case and samurai t-case.  Could someone that has done this please tell what was involved.  Do I have to cut out tunnel, currently have 1/2 body lift to clear 1.6.  Dont want anymore body lift.  It cutting out tunnel is required, please post some pics.   Also I would assume the t-case will remain in stock location? also  what would I need from the sidekick, maybe the clutch cable, or bracket.  Also please list anything else I would need to know.  Or, is there another gear reduction product out there, I really liked the idea of the rock block.  I'm running 100" wheelbase, so I have room for other options.  Also I like the Idea of running the sidekick trans and t-case with the divorced samurai t-case, anyone having any problems?  I'm not into the toyota stuff as I have several samurai and sidekicks for parts.  Any info and pics are much appreciated.

I have your current gear set up to the tee and have my stock 1.3 f.i and feel the crawl ratio of 129:1 is the shiznit. I which I had more motor like your 1.6 setup though, to be able to use the higher gears with confidence. I cant see that you would need more gearing with your current combo. If you add a second t-case it would be at 232:1, insane. Of course depending on what tire size you are running, it may be your cup of tea.
Stock sammy axles with 5.38's, max tire size of 33. Dana 44 with 5.38's, max tire size of 38's. What axle setup and tire combo you have. Sounds like you have a possible non street legal rig. I wheel with a couple of guys that use the OTT stuff, Mudmonger and SHE996 on the pirate board.  Do a search on Pirate for their know how.

You just us the stock sissors jack to spread the tunnel open just a little bit,I would move the stock transfer case back just a little and then cut the right side of the sidekick transfer case off and weld a plate or two back on to hold the oil in it,then get a shaft cut to go between the two transfer case's, the only reason I have not done it yet is because I don't have the wheel base you do.

How much is a little bit?  I have a porta power  to spread tunnel.  Does the whole tunnel need this or just a spot of it.  Do you have any pictures or links on a case that has been modified.  I suppose I could do this, as I also have an aluminum spool gun.    why would wheel base matter, cant you still have t-case mounted in factory position? Thanks

The tunnel just has to be spread in one spot I believe, not too much just a little bit, not sure you would have a porta power small enough to fit in there, if you put both in there now without moving your samurai t case back a little you would have two flanges hooked to gether and no room for a drive shaft,I would like to have one to let the rear t case move around a little bit.

WOW !  That looks nice, I dont see where you cut off the front output.  Very clean job, do you have any pics of buildup?  I was planning on using factory mount for samurai t-case, can this be done, I suspect yours is in a sidekick.
