No problem, Cajun.  Any decent boat shop should have them.
If it's worth building, it's worth over-building!

How about putting in an ear deafening car alarm?

I finally bought a new CD deck about a year ago after my Kenwood tape deck, after 10 years of continuously cranking heavy metal tunes, died.  I bought a new Kenwood CD player, nothing fancy, the KDC-217S Model which looks exactly like this one here:

When I bought my Sidekick in late 1993, the previous owner too had 6x9 placed in the back above the rear wheel wells.  This spring I am going to replace them with some nice new heavy duty 6x9s along with the 4's in the front which are still the stock speaker that came with it.

I've been maybe thinking of replacing the cardboard and vinyl in the back with some nice carpeted particle board.  I think it would look killer.

Bill,
You probablt already have me beat on the sound system now. I put my goodies in my daily driver and now I rock with a Kenwood 2004 (CHEAP :P) that has so much mud in it that the CD does not load disc any more and two bass booming 4" in the dash :P

Naahhh, I cant even turn any bass on my Tracker cause the speakers are so wore out!!! I need to blow my CD player out with some air, very dusty.... The stock radio has a CD and Cassette built in so I need to start covering it when 4wheelin.

Mine's kinda basic and thrown together... but I have 6x9's in the back panels with MDF..

I also have a Fosgate box with 2 12's.. It's completely easy removeable with a 4 pin trailer plug so I can take it out to fit gear back there.

I also just got me a new head unit! It's this one:

I can finally play MP3's! It's really nice to burn one CD and have like 150 songs on it.

Oh wow, Heather, that's AWESOME stuff!! I really like how the 6x9 in the wood looks!!

I LOVE the head unit! I too wanted to buy an MP3 player also, but alas, I couldn't afford it at the time and I was desperate for a new unit so I could listen to my music instead of the pure garbage they play on the radio on a daily basis.

But yeah, neat stuff. :)

Yup,
Its one of the old pre 'Power-Ranger' type 60ix's.  Works great bridged mono to the subs.
