tinted windows

I tryed it and the first time i put the top down and go it wet it wrinkled after a week it was such a mess i tore it of . and the hard top i got had the tinted windows and i could not see very well in the bush so i removed it. now i have this clean window for a short time the dirt just sticks to it grrrrrrrrrrrrrr . dam tint.

well....i used to work at a hobby shop and we used to have this stuff for the car bodys its a spray came in either can or for airbrush.......but it was a window tint for the rc car bodies that was lexan safe....and the nice thing is its a flexible paint cause its meant for the flexible car bodies....im kinda curious if it would work..... a company named faskoat makes it ......

I tinted mine using the Insta-Cling stuff from Wally World. Cut to fit, except leave about a 1/8" gap along the edges. (It will be invisible from the outside)  I used a *very* weak mix of soap and water (I think it was like 4-8 drops of soap to a pint of water). Spray the tint and the inside plastic after thoroughly cleaning the inside of the plastic. Apply the tint and adjust it, then squeegee out the water. Ignore any *really* small bubbles because they will disappear.  You must use the insta-cling (removable) type tint. I'll send pictures to you via e-mail of the results on mine.

  I tinted mine with the cling type too.  Easy and cheap to do and I've had no problems with mine, even with taking the top up and down.

I HATE that stuff!  My 2-door came with tinted side windows.  Just what I want, less visibility when wheeling!  So I finally peeled it off last weekend.

  Yeah, I don't use it on my trail rig cause it reduces visability.   But on my daily driver, it helps keep it cooler, and makes it a little harder for people with sticky fingers to be tempted by whats inside, I hope!
