I need to buy a pitman arm puller, not sure which one will work on the Samurai, do you guy’s have a brand or part number I can use to order one online?
94 SUZUKI SAMURAI / 1.6 8 VALVE TRACKER MOTOR.

I always use a snap-on wheel-puller

Harbor freight makes one that works fine. It's in the automotive aisle in the retail locations. Just be sure to nail that nut on the pitman arm with lots of PB Blaster for a week before doing the actual deed. Use an impact gun with impact socket. Once decent pressure is applied to the puller, rest a large heavy hammer on the pitman arm slide ring, then smack that hammer with another big hammer. Shouldn't take too many blows and it will fall right off.....

I went and borrowed one from KRAGEN Auto Parts, it was the pitch fork kind, did not even budge the pitman arm.
I used a press on the one and bent the 1/4 plate steel I was pressing against. the whole gear starts coming out of the steering box.

I better use the best puller before I ruin my new power steering box and create a leak or something.   SNAP - ON

It's all in the pb blaster and the hammer game.... Trying a straight on pull will never work, just rip the guts out of the steering box, or break your puller.

keep soaking the pitmarn arm and the steering box shaft for several days, and then hammer the hell out of it. 2 large hammers, one resting on the pitman arm, and smack the first hammer with the second, that's always worked on the jobs I have seen.

Another last ditch method is to use a die grinder and cut the pitman arm in 2 or 3 places around the shaft, that will help to give it some slop and come off.
