Oh and on radio's... I've got a couple of the 14/38 channel Motorola FRS's... are those acceptable?

DISTANCE : 1622.2 miles
TRAVEL TIME : 24 hrs 57 mins
so I guess you can count me out......maybe next year..... :(

I'd almost rather use those instead of my CB.  The stinkin thing is older than I am and well, it just doesn't wanna work sometimes.  Also, I figured out a way to rig the GMRS radio to my seat belt using a small nylon strap and a safety pin!  Can we say "shoulder mic!"  :)
