already checked the injectors. Nothing there.

When you say "nothing there" you mean problems, not fuel, correct?

How about the O2 sensor(s)?

I thought it might be the o2 sensor, I"m going to unplug that and see what it does.

The symptoms you have are classic low
fuel pressure, check the filter, and the
fuel PSI, both at idle and trying to drive,
see what happens, My vote is for the
Regulator, fuel PSI should be around
36-43, 36 is correct for TBI systems, I'm
not sure if the MPI system is higher or same.

A quick regulator test is to pinch shut the
return line and see if it runs better, might
not need to pinch all the way as it might
cause it to stall instead of idle.

I was just wondering how one might go about measuring the fuel psi, is there a gauge or something?

I just pulled the tank out and pulled the pump doesn't seem like its bad, the bottom of the tank is clean as a whistle and so is the pump. GOing to goto the junk yard get a pump and a regulator see if that solves anything. Thanks for all the help guys.

Getting the fuel PSI is kind of a pain,
you got to tap into the pressure side and
put a guage on it, any guage that reads
to about 50-100 PSI should work but getting
it hooked up is the trick, you might be able to
get a fitting that will fit the threads between the
steel line from the tank and the flex line that
goes to the TBI then you could run a line to a
guage and see what you got.

If I remember right the rail on a 16V has a
PSI port that should be easier to hook up to

WEll i got a pump coming tomorrow, see if that does anything then if its still acting up i'm going to put in a new pressure regulator. Then if that doesn't fix it i'm taking it to a garage cause i have to have my car.

DUDE !!!!  Your blowing dough before
you know what the problem is, did you
try the pinched line to test the Reg ??

don't just throw $$ at a problem and
hope it's going away, figure it out and
fix it properly  :(

Free pump, so im' not throwing money at it. I'm gonna put that in,  Then i'm going to do the pinch test. THe pump doesn't look bad I just thought I would try it while the tank is out. Its probably something stupid that I just don't have the know how to figure out.  :-/

Put the new pump in, runs much better, is almost driveable on the street. But it still has absolutely no low end power until its up above 3 grand then it comes on ok.... The pedal feels weird, it pulls harder if you push it lightly then if you floor it. So that part is confusing me, I think i'm going to break down and take it to a shop.  :-/
