I was playing with the truck and I noticed that I can put the front of my 92 kick about my knee level height and the oppposite back tire is in the wheel well but when I put the back tire the same height the front tires never seem to compress fully.....I have not yet touched the bump stop....is this becuz of the sway bar? also if I take the sway bar off how does it effect the offroad.

my truck is stock

First off, The stock IFS doesn't really flex that good.
Second. Ya, Take off the sway bar. I did on mine and its not really that noticable on road and off-road it does help alot.

if the sway bar does not make that much difference is the quick disconects worth it?

I took the swaybars off of both of my Trackers and I don't miss it at all. For me, disconnects wouldn't be worth it, I would leave them disconnected all the time and wouldn't want to add the weight of a useless swaybar back onto the truck.

When you were lifting a tire, how were you doing it? with a jack under the a-arm or under the tire? The tire would have a lot more leverage on the spring than a jack under the arm, because it's the furthest point from the pivot... Whenever I've jacked up my rig from the a-arm, it behaves differently than when I drive that tire up on a rock or log. The jack raises the frame more than just lifting the tire, which would lift the rear tire more...
Had a cool sig pic till I changed the text... sigh...

I was driving up a wall behind the price chopper while my wife was shopping it has a gradual height change the farther you go along and I was just trying all different things I got to about knee level and then started to look at the suspension and did the comparison at that level

Another voice about ditching the bar ...

I pulled mine off and couldn't tell any difference on road.
