Of coarse it can be done, and yes you might be biting off more than
you can chew with the wiring, but how else is it going to get done?
If you get all the electrics, it should be an easy enough swap, but there
could be some issues with the auto computer and a manual trans in the
Samurai, and there might be a VCC in the speedo that you need to make
the computer happy.
Pretty much get everything that has a wire attached to the computer just
in case you need it later, actually with a swap like this you want to have the
whole car parked where you are working, 1 so you can remove stuff as needed
and 2 so it's all there if you need it.
I put a turbo setup onto a non turbo Pinto engine, got the computer and all
the hardware from the donor turbo T-bird and installed it all on the new engine,
just sorted through all the wires, anything not needed was culled out and all the
engine connections were used. I think this project would be similar, pull it all and
remove what is not needed, BTW you will need the fuel pump from the Swift
tank and it should be cheep enough if you get the whole thing for a set price
