I was looking on Suzuki aftermarket websites for a clutch fan delete kit.  Petroworks sells a flex fan kit.  But ultimately, I want to find a heavy-duty radiator (aluminum?) for my Tracker, and use an electric fan, that way I eliminate the fan drag on the engine.  Who has installed an electric fan?  I can't find a company that makes a specific kit for a Tracker, but haven't done the research yet with a universal kit.  Hopefully someone else has done this and can tell me what to look for.  I found a universal size chart on Flex-a lite's site but want opinions from people who have an electric fan kit, what you have used.

I can not comment for the tracker so much but have installed a ectric fan on my Samurai with a 1.6 16V. I do not remember what car it is out of after all these years( I think a Dodge Neon) but it has always worked very well.

i have a 94 tracker. i have put 3 diff. fans on my tracker and water killed them all. if you play in deep water alot i dont think its a good idea. sorry i dont have info on a fan that will hold up.

After removing the AC from my Tracker, because it did not work, I reinstalled the fan for trail use.  Experimenting I found that by jumpering the leads that went to little condenser(?) tank, when I turned the AC switch on (IF the heater fan was also on) the AC Fan (in front of radiator) would turn on.  Also if the heater fan was on and the motor heated up, the AC Fan would also come on (it would turn off when the motor cooled down).  The heater fan has to be on (even low speed).
I have not used the motor driven fan for a year.  I have forgot to turn the AC on when I hit the trails, but when motor starts heating up the AC Fan seems to cool it right back down.  Not for deep water use.

I run an electric fan exclusively. I've got it connected to a switch for off/on. Been through many deep water crossings, Jersey woods are full of them, without any issues. I just turn it off in the water. I rarely need it on when I'm not in the woods. Only time is in stop and go type traffic. It's never on on the highway or normal city driving.

I used a fan from a mid 90's Ford Taurus & an after market thermal on / off switch.
