I called Hawk Suzuki back in they day, they just asked if it was the left or right one.  Since the ownership change I'm not sure if someone there would know which one to send you...

Dude the egr valve basically is for the reduction of NOX, your readings for NOX are fine, your wasting your time.

IanL - thank you!

I had to go and get my re-test done yesterday before I could replace the EGR Solenoid (I only had 14 days to get re-test done for free), so I set the timing down to 3*, and put on 27" tires. They also ran the test within 10-15 min of me being parked, so I suspect the CAT was warmer than last time (sat for 2 hours).

I still failed because I threw a code P1530: Ignition timing adjustment switch circuit fault. I suspect I threw this code when I put the jumper on (bypassing computer) while adjusting the timing can anyone confirm this? I'm also concerned because I barely passed the HC side of the test, and might fail a re-test:
15 MPH max 63, and measured 63
25 MPH max 47, and measured 34

What else can be causing me to have such high HC?

C02% and 02% went up slightly, CO% went down by 1/2, and NO got cut in 1/2 at 15 MPH, but doubled at 25 MPH (strange eh?). All but the HC |removethispart|@ 15 MPH (previous post) are well below max levels.

Pre OBD2 ECUs throw a code if the engine is revved over a set limit with the jumper fitted. I would think that the OBD2 is similar.

Rhinoman,
Thanks for confirmation. I'm pretty sure it's 'cause I left the jumper in, drove a little ways, then remembered the jumper and pulled it. Probably was a stored code from that. Has not thrown a code since I cleared it.

So... does that mean you passed or failed?

Failed :(  I can re-test, but with that HC number RIGHT AT THE EDGE of passing - it makes me nervous. Wish I knew a way to get that HC number down a little more for sure....

Simple and basic have you changed the oil lately?
The oil will hold in the emissions and make it fail, my friend's Toyota MR2 failed too and he changed the oil passed clean give it a try if you haven't done it yet.

I ran SeaFoam & ATF for about 150 miles. Then changed out oil & filter about 100 miles ago.
