A few years ago, I tried to convince a guy that it was no coincidence that his rusted out Sammy had the same wheelbase as his Metro convertible...  ...He didn't go for it.

Nightmare is the best way to look at that project. Uni-body requires mega work to fit/brace frame mount points. That is if you plan to off road  it. Can you say....X90 ? Even the X needs work to performe off road but Metro ? Thats just wrong ! No wonder it's for sale.

There was a guy selling a Metro on Craigslist mounted on a Chevy S-10 frame with the 4.3 in it.  Had most of the work done, just needed some electrical.  So he claimed anyway.  Looked like it would be an interesting project.

You could always do something like this tough.  :D
